In Conversation: Tracey Barnett and David Slack At the Michael King Writers’ Centre

Tracey Barnett
David Slack
Two of Devonport’s own – Tracey Barnett and David Slack – like to challenge the status quo.
Tracey Barnett is a journalist and commentator whose work is published in media around the world. She is the founder of WagePeaceNZ, an initiative to raise awareness about refugee issues in New Zealand. She is also the author of The Quiet War on Asylum, published by Bridget Williams Books.
David Slack is a columnist, speech-writer, “mouth for hire” and has written books on the Treaty of Waitangi, New Zealand’s future and, most recently, the game of bullrush.

Join us for a glass of wine as they discuss immigration, politics and the state of the world.
