Other confirmed names include Jon Ronson, Peter Carey, Oliver Jeffers, Alexander McCall Smith, Paul Muldoon, Anne Applebaum, and Elif Shafak amongst many others.
The festival takes place over nine days from Saturday May 16 to Sun May 24 with 90 events in 19 venues across the city.
This year a number of events will celebrate the life and work of Yeats inspired by his words "Bodies That Can Never Tire".
