All The Light We Cannot See

Harper Collins are pleased:

It’s a book that has touched so many and is much loved by anyone that has read it, so it should be no surprise that All the Light We Cannot See has won the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction.
I think we can all agree that is an incredibly well-deserved win and that Anthony Doerr has written what the judges called, “an imaginative and intricate novel inspired by the horrors of World War II and written in short, elegant chapters that explore human nature and the contradictory power of technology.”

Anthony will take home $10,000, a lot of congratulations and a host of new fans that will come to his work after this amazing win.

And the author on how it came to be written

I'm not too sure on this. It was a lovely story, and a great holiday read. But I thought it reasonably 'light'.
