We’re thinking of claiming the record for the longest client/agency relationship in the history of PR. 2014 astonishingly marks the 21st anniversary of our working with the (Man) Booker Prize and we celebrated in style with a small dinner for some of our oldest Man Booker friends.

It was fascinating to think back over the years and to realise how much the world of PR has changed. For example it used to take a team of us most of the night to fax out the eight page press release detailing the shortlist: that information can now go out in an instant at the press of a button!

It’s marvellous to see how the Man Booker brand has gone from strength to strength, as has another of our clients, Agatha Christie. Acorn Productions announced this week that the BBC has commissioned two significant new drama adaptations to bring her masterpieces to a new generation of crime fans...
