PIGS MIGHT FLY

PIGS MIGHT FLY is published  in New Zealand this week, and will be launched in Blenheim on 18 March.
Publisher: The Five Mile Press, NZ rrp $24.99.

If you've read A Bigger Digger
Where the diggers all get bigger
Or the one about a cow stuck in the mud

Then be prepared to worry
As the team are in a hurry
To save the farmyard animals from a flood

Is there a plan conceivable?
Are all of them retrievable?
Our heroes have one thing that they can try

So here's a variation
On porcine aviation
A fun combobulation : "Pigs Might Fly"

Author Brett Avison is an uncle and a great uncle - with two great-nephews. One of them, Bryn - and Brett's clever little dog Oscar, were the inspiration for his first book, 'A Bigger Digger'. He lives with his wife, and a very fast cat called Couscous, in Havelock, New Zealand.

Dr Seuss's One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish triggered a light inside of illustrator Janine Dawson and she has loved children's books ever since. She loves cartoons, comics, old movies and enjoys the whimsical things in everyday life. She lives near Manly in NSW with her daughter Rose, two cats and some goldfish
