SYMON is the author of the DETECTIVE SAM SHEPARD crime series and the
stand alone psychological thriller, THE FACELESS.
She has been a three times
finalist in the Ngaio Marsh Award for best NZ crime novel and currently a PhD
candidate at the University of Otago, reasearching the communication of science
through crime fiction, using examples from the work of Ngaio Marsh. Fascinating
stuff!
