Golden Yarns, the National Children’s Authors and
Illustrators Hui, will be hosted by Te Tai Tamariki in Christchurch over Queens
Birthday weekend this year.
Registrations are now open for those of you
who are published authors and/or illustrators. To find out more, go to www.goldenyarns.com.
We are really
enthusiastic about it, we think the programme has something for everyone.
Speakers include Greg O’Brien, Kate de Goldi, Fleur Beale and Ant Sang. Numbers
are limited to 100, so don’t dilly dally. Please circulate information
about the Hui around your network.
For those of you in Christchurch who are not authors or
illustrators, we will need lots of help. We are putting out a call for
volunteers. If you are interested and available for all/part of the
