Emily Perkins makes Women's Prize for Fiction longlist

The Women’s Prize for Fiction (formerly The Orange Prize) longlist has been announced and includes New Zealand writer Emily Perkins.

The longlist is:

The shortlist will be announced on 16 April and the winner will be announced on 5 June.

Footnote:
This is a star-studded field, my warmest congratulations to Emily Perkins on her inclusion. I guess the favourite will be Hilary Mantel, her latest has already won three major awards this year.
