Michael Smythe on SQUIGGLY DOT
My alta ego – the anagrammatic Thimmely Chase – believes that SQUIGGLY DOT deserves to find its global audience.
He reckons that potential overseas publishers need to hold this children’s picture book in their hands and experience its visual/verbal originality.
It’s one way of getting their attention in a crowded market!
So he has launched a crowd funding project through PledgeMe to enable a pilot print run
But it’s not so much a donation as a potential investment that you are invited to consider.
This is your opportunity to buy a PRODUCTION PROTOTYPE limited edition of the book:
100 books are on offer – each numbered, inscribed (to your instructions) and signed by Thimmely Chase.
The printed book will be 200 x 200mm, 32 pages plus cover with perfect binding.
