New Senior Adviser, Literature for Creative New Zealand

Creative New Zealand is delighted to announce the appointment of Jill Rawnsley as the new Senior Adviser, Literature.

Jill (pictured right) has an impressive background in New Zealand’s literary sector. She has worked extensively in publishing both in Auckland and London and most recently was the Artistic Director of the Auckland Writers and Readers Festival.
Jill was with the Festival for 10 years, firstly working as Festival Manager, then Director, and then as the organisation developed, as Artistic Director. During Jill’s time with the Festival its audience grew from 5000 to 25,000. Jill has a Master of Arts in English Literature (First Class Honours) from Auckland University.

Jill will join Creative New Zealand on 15 October and she will be based in the Auckland office.
