The
new digital service is a further step in the Moleskine journey for bridging
analog to digital and vice versa. “Moleskine sees analog and digital as a
continuum,” says Arrigo Berni, CEO of Moleskine. “We design apps for digital
sketching and note taking, and paper notebooks enabled for digital cloud
synching, as in the Smart Notebook designed with Evernote. With this new
partnership with fine publisher PQ Blackwell we come full circle, taking
digital content back to paper.”
CEO
and Publisher of PQ Blackwell, Geoff Blackwell commented, “My colleagues and I
are delighted and honored to be collaborating with Moleskine. We have watched
with admiration and respect as they have achieved so much success over the past
decade and as we have traveled along our own path, their beautiful notebooks
have been our constant companions – keepers of our scribbles, inspiration,
plans, and dreams. Moleskine Photo Books and Albums introduce a new quality
dimension to this fast growing market.”

About
Moleskine
The
heir of the little black notebooks used by avant garde artists and writers of
the last two centuries, Moleskine is now a global company dedicated to the
design of open platforms for creativity; notebooks, diaries, bags, pencils,
pens, reading accessories; tools for fostering imagination, blank space for recording
and organizing ideas, and for carrying our analog cloud of objects with us in
our ordinary and extraordinary journeys. With headquarters in Milan and offices
in New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, Moleskine is synonymous with culture,
travel, memory, imagination, and personal identity – in both the real world and
the digital world.
