Last Thursday Island Bay came to
Willis Street as crowds gathered at Unity Books Wellington to celebrate the book
launch of Vincent Moleta’s recent creation Family Business.
In the book
he traces the life of his grandparents from the childhood in Stromboli to their
arrival and life in Wellington. Packed full of illustrations and forgotten
tales, Moleta paints a detailed picture of ‘the rich culture the Ӕeolian
migrants brought with them’.
