Penelope Todd reports on "her" bilingual novel

When Elena Bossi and I met in Iowa 2007, our common languages were mime and laughter. My Spanish was paltry, Elena's English picturesque. On parting, to sustain our friendship, Elena made the absurd suggestion that we write a novel together. And so we did — in alternate chapters, each in our own country and language. In 2009, we met in Argentina to polish the translations of our story.

Rosa Mira Books is delighted to offer you Amigas, a novel about friendship and loss, coming of age, and coming to accept life as it is. Amigas is in English and Spanish — both versions in a single ebook edition.
