Tuhinga Tangi – Writing Death (14 June, 1pm)


Join us for a discussion with authors who have looked at death in their work. Benedict Quilter: (editor, Blue-eyed Son, a collaborative art book about Kurt Cobain), Apirana Taylor -left- (poet and performance artist), Raj Chakraborti (author of Shadow Play), Hinemoana Baker (poet, performance artist and musician) and Helen Heath (Chair/VUP, author of Graft).

Moonlighting - an evening of poetry (21 June, 7pm)


Hear readings and discussions prompted by the anthology, Moonlight: New Zealand Poems on Death and Dying. Featured poets: Gregory O’Brien (right), Jenny Bornholdt, Dinah Hawken with Bill Manhire (Chair/Poet).
