Chris Cleave visiting NZ for Festival


Hachette NZ are absolutely delighted to announce that bestselling author Chris Cleave will be in New Zealand from 28 – 31 August 2012 (press release attached for further information). He will be appearing at a number of events around the country (details on Hachette New Zealand website) and will also be a guest at The Press Christchurch Writers’ Festival.

Chris is the best-selling author of Gold (released June 12). His previous books include Incendiary, which won the 2006 Somerset Maugham Award, was shortlisted for the 2006 Commonwealth Writers Prize, won the United States Book-of-the-Month Club’s First Fiction award 2005 and won the Prix Spécial du Jury at the French Prix des Lecteurs 2007.
  The Other Hand was published in 2008 and was a Sunday Times Bestseller, shortlisted for the 2008 Costa Award and nominated for the 2009 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best Book. His writing is described as deeply affecting, heart-breaking and provocative.
