Margaret Mahy Medal Award Lecture and Annual General Meeting Saturday 31 March 2012 9.30am – 12.45pm King’s School, 258 Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland 1050 Registration commences at 9.00am Fleur Beale - Recipient of the Margaret Mahy Medal 2012 Wellington writer Fleur Beale has won the 2012 Storylines Margaret Mahy Medal for her outstanding contribution to New Zealand writing for children and young adults. Come and hear Fleur's Margaret Mahy Lecture. Also presented on the day are the Gaelyn Gordon, Joy Cowley, Tom Fitzgibbon and Tessa Duder Awards, with book launches from two of last years winners.
