The Bookman spends an hour with Jo Nesbo
Last evening I had the great honour to spend an hour talking to Norwegian crime writer Jo Nesbo before a sell-out crowd at Newmarket's Rialto Theatre. Nesbo, looking more like a rock star than an author, is in NZ to attend the NZ Arts Festival in Wellington and to promote the latest, the seventh, in his world-wide best-selling Harry Hole series - Phantom.
Nesbo, resplendent in an All Blacks t-shirt, delighted the audience with his full and frank answers to the questions I put to him.
And he spent a great deal of time later signing copies of his books for the many fans present.
For details of other events during his link here to the Random House website and click on the Nesbo tour button.
