Rumors are swirling ahead of Apple’s announcement today. Among them are that the company will unveil a new iPad, which will go on sale March 16. The new tablet is expected to have a faster chip and sharper screen and to be compatible with both AT&T and Verizon networks. Also expected is a new version of Apple TV that can work in conjunction with the iPad and other Apple devices. The company sent out an invitation to journalists saying, “We have something you really have to see. And touch,” and depicting what appears to be the corner of an iPad.
