Surfing the Avalanche - PANZ Conference Challenge

Surfing the Avalanche is Jens Bammel’s wry title for his PANZ Conference keynote speech on March 1 about the changing face of global publishing. Bammel, secretary general of the International Publishers Association based in Geneva, is making his first visit to this country to bring his knowledge of the global publishing situation to the Conference.
A full and busy programme covering publishing at both its widest and specialist sectors will fill March 1 and 2 at the Mercure Hotel in downtown Auckland.
As well as Jens Bammel, there are other leading international book figures like Little, Brown UK publisher David Shelley and Aussies Mark Tanner, Malcolm Neil, Mark Higginson, Head of Digital Development for HarperCollins and academic specialist Elizabeth Weiss.
Register Now – full details, including a conference programme, are available on PANZ website
Forward completed registration forms to conference@publishers.org.nz by the end of today.
