SERVICE
Ether Press

The other week, VSL featured a book of very short stories, all of which had begun their lives as status updates on a social-networking site. Today, we’re tipping our hat to the Ether Press—a print-on-demand service that turns your tweets into a perfect-bound 40-to-740-page book. How necessary or desirable that is—for anyone on the right side of narcissistic personality disorder—we’ll leave for you to decide. But the press has already launched #OCCUPY BOOKS, which collects “selected tweets from the last 24 hours posted under the #OWS hashtag,” and is sure to interest future historians.
