Paper and Pencils in Ponsonby

Yesterday a new and interesting store quietly opened its doors in Ponsonby.

PENCIL BOUTIQUE is a shop for paper freaks like me and is the brainchild of the ever enterprising and imaginative Hooper family (those of WORLD fashion fame) and it is being managed by daughter Pebbles Hooper.

The store is located next door to cafe Agnes Curran (behind Masons Menswear on the corner of Ponsonby & Franklin) so Hooper will never be short of great coffee. It is a space that has been a pop-up store several times in recent years. Pebbles, with the warm support of her parents, plans though for this to be a long-term venture.

No signage or business cards or phone or website yet but they are all coming shortly.
Be sure to call in and see the wide range of paper products, gorgeous pens, as well as novelty items and much more. And then have a coffee and brioche at Agnes Curran!

Oh my goodness, I must visit this shop - even better, it's beside Agnes Curran! Very cool Pebbles.

And another beautiful stationery shop is due to open on Jervois Road - Red Letter Day will open in the old Tessutti space within the next couple of weeks. Official opening party at the end of July.
