How often does it happen that a father and daughter have books launched simultaneously?

Last Saturday, Playmarket, representing playwrights Roger and Pip Hall, launched in published form plays written by them.

Pip Hall's play, Queen B, was one of three in a volume of Young & Hungry plays, along with Lauren Jackson's Exchange and Miria George's Urban Hymns.
Roger Hall's A Way of Life is his epic play about three generations of New Zealand farmers from the end of WWI until the mid-nineties when the banks were foreclosing.

A third text was also launched, Jo Randerson's double bill, The Unforgiven Harvest and The Lead Wait.

The launch took place at Wellington's BATS Theatre (the launching pad of many new NZ works) and as well as the usual brief speeches and thanks, a short scene was performed from each of the plays.

These publications marked the 9th, 10th and 11th in the Playmarket Playseries that began in 2007.

Congrats to Roger and Pip, a great achievement (and a rare one).

I don't know if they've ever had books launched simultaneously, but another father-daughter combo who've both received some acclaim, are popular with readers, and have had new books on booksellers' shelves simultaneously is James Lee Burke and Alafair Burke.

Then of course you have the California Kellermans - father Jonathan, mother Faye, son Jesse and daughter Aliza, who are all published authors. In fact I believe Jonathan and Faye are the only (or were the first) husband-wife combo to ever both have separate books on the New York Times Bestseller List simultaneously.
