Top Children's author to speak for Pakistan Flood Relief - Andy Griffiths Wellington visit

Top Australian children’s author Andy Griffiths will be speaking in Wellington at a fundraiser for the young victims of the recent flooding in Pakistan.

The author of a series of books that are wildly popular with primary-aged children is in Wellington to promote his latest book “The Very Bad Book” and Sue Clothier, the local president of Save The Children New Zealand was delighted to be offered the opportunity to be involved. “ This is a real opportunity for children to help children” she said.

The evening event is to be held at Evan’s Bay Intermediate School, Kemp St, Kilbirnie on October 19th at 6pm and tickets are $5 each with all the money going to Save the Children, and available only from The Children’s Bookshop in Kilbirnie- phone 3873905, or books@thechildrensbookshop.co.nz
