We meet twice a month on the first Thursday at 7 p.m.
And on the third Sunday at 2 p.m. at
Tauranga Environment Centre

It was started by my mother Edna Pithie. Meetings were held at Sunhaven Motel, 1011 Cameron Road. Mum learnt her craft in Wellington, in WEA classes and as a member of NZ Women Writers from 1959 until 1972 when she passed away. If anyone has any samples of her work - most of it was lost when my father remarried - please let me know dianepithie @ gmail.com. I am searching for a piece about Fred Ladd flying under Auckland Harbour Bridge, called 'Did He Break Anything?"
