MA in Creative Writing?

A project for Labour weekend?

The deadline for submissions to the IIML’s online literary journal Turbine is here – so if you’ve been thinking of sending us some work, now’s the time to act. The official deadline’s today – but as the long weekend is almost upon us, we’ve decided to stretch it a little.
Therefore any poems, fictions or creative non¬fictions that are submitted by next Tuesday, 26 October, will be considered. Email your best work to turbine@vuw.ac.nz ¬ but please check out our submission guidelines first.

Calling next year’s writers

It’s also time to get serious about producing that first book or script: the application deadline for the MA in Creative Writing at the IIML is just over a week away.
Writers of fiction, poetry, scripts and creative non-fiction wishing to spend 2011 honing their craft at Victoria University should have their applications in by 1 November. If you want to find out a bit more about who we are and what we do, visit our website.
Start with the introductory page, which tells you how the course is structured. Check out our showcase page, where a selection of graduates share their experiences of the MA and outline what they're doing now.
