Brooklyn Embraces the World: Book Fest, Publishers Boost International Lit

Despite tight budgets, the Brooklyn Book Festival, which starts on Sunday, will feature a stage dedicated to international authors and literature in translation. The programming reflects independent publishers in Brooklyn, many of which focus on translations, including Archipelago, New Directions, Ugly Duckling, and Zephyr Press.
