WRITERS ON MONDAYS - WELLINGTON
16 AUGUST  First Fictions: Craig Cliff & Tina Makereti

In Man Melting, Craig Cliff moves ‘from the serious and realistic to the humorous and outlandish, each story copying an element from the previous piece in a kind of evolutionary chain.’ Tina Makereti’s Once Upon a Time in Aotearoa explores a world where mythological characters and stories become part of everyday life, and old and new worlds co-exist.  They read from and discuss their first fictions with David Geary.

Writers on Mondays is presented by the International Institute of Modern Letters and The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
These events take place at 12.15-1.15pm, at The Marae, Level 4, Te Papa.
They are open to the public and free of charge.
