Kyle Cathie sweeps Food Writers shortlists

Kyle Cathie has stormed this year's Guild of Food Writers Awards shortlists, with six nominations including all three in the Healthy Eating book category.
 
Forgotten Skills of Cooking and The Italian Cookery Course (both KC) are up for the Cookery Book of the Year, alongside Warm Bread and Honey Cake by Gaitri Pagrach-Chandra (Pavilion). Seasonal Spanish Food (KC) is also facing down indies Quadrille for Easy Tasty Italian by Laura Santtiny and Cuisinier Gascon: Meals from a Gascon Chef by Pascal Aussignac (published by Absolute Press) for the Best First Book Award.

The Rough Guide to Food
is also nominated for the Derek Cooper Award for Campaigning and Investigative Food Writing or Broadcasting.

The winners of the awards, now in their 15th year, will be revealed on 17th June in an event at the Design Museum in London.
