ECO-RANGERS SAVE THE PLANET
Maria Gill (author) and Vivienne Lingard (illustrator) will talk to school children at Remuera Library on Wednesday 18th November 11.00am about their new book ‘Eco-Rangers Save the Planet’.
The book encourages 10-14 year olds to Act Local: by saving water, reducing waste, buying wise, cleaning up their school and community; Act Global: live sustainably, understand the climate change theories and find out how they can make a difference.
In the last segment – Be The Change – there is some eco tasks such as turning old jeans into a bag, starting a green team, making eco-friendly personal products. During the book launch students can win eco prizes and see Vivienne Lingard’s art work.
