Thriller writer James Patterson has renewed his contract with long-term Stateside publisher Hachette Book Group, this time for a 17-book deal.
According to the LA Times, however, this deal will cover just three years' worth of books.
Hachette announced yesterday (8th September) that the "ultra-prolific novelist, whose output has been enhanced by such co-authors as Maxine Paetro and Andrew Gross, will turn out 10 adult thrillers, one non-fiction work and six novels for young people by the end of 2012", the newspaper said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
