WEATHERED BONES LAUNCHED IN STYLE

The setting sun cast a beautiful glow over everyone, as around 70 guests enjoyed the launch of Michele Powles’ debut novel Weathered Bones last night in Auckland.
Pic right shows author with bookseller Carole Beu.
With a storm binding the novel’s three characters together, Storm at 161 Ponsonby Road was a fitting host venue, and when three young women including the author read excerpts from different characters you could have heard a pin drop.
Beautiful food, gorgeous people, and excellent chat filled the evening, introduced by a very enthusiastic Geoff Walker from Penguin, and finished with healthy book sales!
