Granta revamps website
01.04.09 The Bookseller

Granta has unveiled 'phase 2' of its website relaunch.
Granta.com will publish articles and interviews that do not appear in the magazine.
The site also now features a New Voices showcase; up-to-the minute dispatches responding to global events; interviews with writers; and reflections on the life and work of great writers such as John Updike.
It will also feature blogs, short films, and podcasts of author interviews.
For the first time visitors to the site can comment on and add tags to all articles and online-only content. Users can also subscribe to Granta via RSS.
Every issue of Granta is available for purchase on the site, with special discount offers to celebrate its thirtieth birthday.

Granta said it wanted the website to foster and encourage a literary community, "to be a space where readers can read and discuss Granta authors and their work".

Good to see Bruce Connew's photo on the cover of Granta! His essay explaining it can be read on the website.
