Rita Angus: Life & Vision
Editors: William McAloon & Jill Trevelyan
$75.00 PBISBN: 978-1-877385-35-3

This exquisite full-colour catalogue accompanies a major exhibition that celebrates the life and work of Rita Angus (1908–70), one of New Zealand's best-loved artists. The exhibition opens at Te Papa in July 2008 before travelling to other main centres of New Zealand.

This is the only large-format catalogue to celebrate Rita Angus's legacy of art in New Zealand. It features magnificent reproductions of every artwork in the exhibition, from iconic landscapes and portraits like Cass and Rutu to work never before seen in public.

William McAloon and Jill Trevelyan are co-curators of the exhibition and co-editors of the catalogue, which includes essays from well-known writers, critics, and art historians. Jill is also the author of the acclaimed biography Rita Angus An Artist's Life published in April 2008.
