Foyles novel West End buy
02.07.08 By David Doyle writing in Property Press.Com

Bookshop Foyles has furthered its plans to build a 200,000 sq ft mixed use scheme centred on its Charing Cross Road store as it is selected as preferred bidder for the Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design at 107-109 Charing Cross Road.
The book company, which has been based at 113-119 Charing Cross Road for more than 100 years, is the University of Art’s preferred bidder for the 90,000 sq ft campus on Charing Cross Road.

Earlier this year Foyles bought 111 Charing Cross Road and now plans to develop a mixed-use scheme, including offices, apartments and anchored by a Foyles book store.
The scheme is a part of Foyles’ expansion plans. The company will open a new bookshop in Westfield London before Christmas.
