WILLIAM DART, AUCKLAND CRITIC EXTRAORDINAIRE
Where does this remarkable writer find time to achieve so much? Dart is the classical music and opera reviewer for the New Zealand Herald and his output is simply remarkable. Also impressive is his wide and deep knowledge of his subject and his ability to write in an authorative but always accessible manner.
When you consider that he also edits and publishes the highly regarded magazine Art New Zealand one can only wonder whether he ever gets any spare time.
Here are two stories written by him from today's New Zealand Herald:
The Michael Hill Violin Competition semifinals in Auckland tonight & tomorrow.
